happiness hit her like a bullet in the head
I first posted about Florence + the Machine’s “rabbit heart” 9 months ago. I can’t believe I still listen to this song daily, either the original or the almost-as-good P.E.S.T. remix! perfect synths, perfect bass, perfect everything. I don’t really like the rest of the album (“lungs”), except for “you’ve got the love” and “dog days are over”.. but those 3 good songs more than make up for it.
apart from that, not much to say - school’s out and it’s kind of a “no limits” period, not knowing what day it is, if it’s day or night (it’s light outside all the time so..), what date it is. I haven’t had that thing for a while now that I fall in love with life every morning, all over again. laying in bed, thinking “I don’t have to do ANYTHING useful today” - this is what I call life. it will get boring after a while tho, which is why I’m gonna do some volunteering stuff in Helsinki next weekend. gonna be fun, hans will be my partner in crime and everything is paid for us, we just have to be shiny happy people and promote Tallinn. this is something we’re really really good at!
if things continue this way, I might stay happy for a long while :)
